Good afternoon,
I doubt we will find out in Taiwan, but according to the GAO, the F-35 f*cking better. If not, can someone please reddit meme Lockheed's stock.
“It is also DOD's most ambitious and costly weapon system in history, with estimated life-of-program costs exceeding $1.7 trillion. DOD plans to procure nearly 2,500 F-35s at an estimated total acquisition cost of just under $400 billion.”
Considering the price point it took to develop this weapons system, this guy should be able to beat a Su-57 in one.

With this kind of price point, even a dolphin floating up on the French Coast with “Havanna Syndrome,” should be able to fly one. Confidence is a good warning sign that should be heeded. No IOTA of the comparisons I have read between the two systems seems to lack confidence. So, I don’t know the answer to the headline posed. But I think it is concerning we are not confident enough to let Taiwan test out the hypothesis with Taiwanese pilots, considering the components of the Pilot's TSMC "head sets."

Is this even an issue? Considering China seems to want to take over all of Asia, the ongoing tensions in Taiwan, and the Airforce sending our 21 pilots to the region as a deterrent, I have a question. Why we not sending f-35s?s
Russia can sell China their Su-57s and we can sell Taiwan our F-35s. It could allow the US to recoup some of our investment in the F-35s and to possibly fund a stand against China at some point.
Warmest Regards,
